All Concerts, Holidays and Special Events require a TWO (2) night minimum ** We sometimes have 1-night openings available Fri-Sun during such events — please call 209-728-2897 to inquire about availability.
Check-in: Anytime after 3 p.m. If you will be later than 6 p.m., please call us to make late check-in arrangements.
Check-out: No later than 11 a.m.
Children: Dunbar House is an intimate, romantic and private Inn. Please call 209-728-2897 to make arrangements. A signed Child Responsibility Agreement must be signed before reservation will be booked or confirmed.
Privacy: The house and grounds are open to our guests only, ensuring the ultimate in privacy and repose.
Pets: NO pets. We do not accommodate pets, and you can not leave them in your car on our property.
Smoking: Dunbar House is a non-smoking historic home, but do have smoking areas outside.
We guarantee that your booked room will be held exclusively for you.
Your responsibility is payment of all nights of the scheduled reservation.
Please call 209-728-2897 and speak directly with innkeeper to verify cancellation, or send an e-mail to email@example.com with CANCELLATION in the subject line. Voicemails and messages left on the answering machine will NOT be accepted.
The $30 non-refundable deposit guarantees that you may cancel at any time up to ten (10) days prior to your arrival. Ten (10) days prior to arrival, your remaining balance will be charged. If notice is received WITHIN ten (10) days of your scheduled arrival date, payment will be refunded only if the room is re-rented for each of the reserved nights. If you chose to not purchase Trip Insurance, you will be responsible for all monies due WITHIN the ten (10) day cancellation period. *Cancellation for Whole House Rental is thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Thirty (30) days prior to arrival, your remaining balance will be charged. Rooms will be refunded only if all rooms are re-rented for each of the reserved nights.
Reducing the number of days of a stay WITHIN ten (10) days of scheduled arrival is considered the same as a cancellation, and you will be subject to the same policy as stated above. The minimum stay requirement will still apply.
Departure before the scheduled departure date will constitute a cancellation, and monies will not be refundable.
Gift Certificates: Credit card deposit will be taken at time of booking. Ten (10) days prior to arrival, Gift Certificate will be redeemed towards the remaining balance. If you cancel WITHIN ten, (10) days of your scheduled arrival date, our cancellation policy of payment being refunded only if the room is re-rented for each of the reserved nights will apply. If your rooms are not re-rented, you will not be issued a replacement GiftCertificate.
